FaithCoast Academy Begins On Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 8:00a.m.

Student Drop-Off is available beginning at 7:30a.m. Students will be considered tardy who arrive after 8:00a.m. (And must be signed in by the guardian after 8am.) Student Pick-Up begins at 3:00p.m. with each student being picked up by 3:30p.m. each school day.

Currently, all students bring a "sack lunch" to school each day. If you have lunch items which need to remain cool, you are welcome to bring a lunch bag with an ice pack or a thermos for hot items. However, microwavable items should not be included because access to a microwave is not permitted at this time.

Yes, (but not yet). When school begins, you'll have the option to begin purchasing the FCA uniform items.

On a date which will be announced at least 30 days prior, (you'll have plenty of time to prepare) all students will be required to begin wearing the "Official" FCA uniform.

These Polo shirts or T-shirts will be worn on Monday through Friday each week.

Shirts will be pre-ordered on-site at FCA.

So, that's covers the tops, but what about the bottoms? Great question.

All students are invited to wear slacks or shorts (no gym shorts/sweat pants) or jeans (without any rips or tears above the knee) in any of the following colors: Black, White, Khaki, Navy and Gray. (Any shade of blue jean is acceptable.) Girls may wear a skirt if desired.

SHORTS:

All shorts must adhere to the following:

• Must be loose fitting.
• Undergarments must not be visible.
• The length of shorts should at least reach the student’s fingertips when the student’s arms rest naturally at his or her side (otherwise known as the fingertip rule) and shorts should not extend below the knee.
• Must not be worn lower than the hips.
• No gym short or sweat pant type of material. (Think "dress shorts".)

SKIRTS:

Girls also have the option of wearing a skirt or skort (if desired). All of the same criteria listed above concerning shorts applies to skirts and skorts.

JEANS:

Jeans are permitted Monday through Friday, but MUST not have any rips or tears above the knee. Jeans must adhere to the same criteria listed above for shorts (loose fitting, no visible undergarments, not worn below the hips).

SHOES:

Students are invited to wear the shoe of their choice with the exception of open-toe options. If the toes are covered/protected, the shoe is acceptable.

WHAT DO STUDENTS WEAR UNTIL UNIFORMS ARE REQUIRED?

Students are asked to dress as close to the uniform style as possible (to avoid potential issues).

Ideally, electronic devices should remain at home.

But, yes. Students are welcome to bring electronic devices like cell phones, tablets, and/or smart watches to school.

However, in the interest of protecting each student from potentially being exposed to inappropriate content or images from the electronic devices of other students, ALL electronics must be powered down and turned into the classroom's learning coach at the start of each day.

All electronic devices will be returned to the student at the end of the school day, but the device must remain powered off until the student has left the school campus (students may request permission to power their phone on in order to call a parent).

If parents need to contact their student during the school day (for any reason), we invite you to text the school office directly.

If parents need to speak directly with their student during the school day, parents can text the office to request the student's phone be powered on and provided to the student by the teacher for the parent to have a personal phone call with their student.

This can be requested by a parent at anytime and for any reason. In other words, if a parent wants or needs to speak directly with their student during the school day, every effort will be made to accommodate the parent's request.

If a student requests to speak with their parent, the classroom's learning coach will notify the office and a member of the office staff will contact the parent directly.
