FaithCoast Academy understands that many parents prefer the personal engagement and flexibility of homeschooling their students, but also feel they would benefit from leveraging the structure provided by an on-campus learning experience to supplement their homeschooling program.
Whether you prefer a part-time on-campus schedule or a fully remote learning schedule, FaithCoast Academy has you covered!
Part-time Enrollment
(The Umbrella Program) Grades: 1st - 10th
The Umbrella Program allows students to participate with the on-campus student body for 3 (partial) days each week. This option acts as a supplement for parents who prefer the flexibility of in-home learning plus the added benefits and structure of an on-campus, private Christian education.
Daily Schedule:
- School hours are 8:00a.m. - 1:00p.m., with early-arrival beginning at 7:30a.m.
- Daily Chapel Services (Includes Live Praise & Worship and a Guest Speaker each day)
- Optional Enrichment Classes (Music, Art, Physical Education, etc.)
Additional Information:
- Uses the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum
- Up to 3 subjects
- FaithCoast Academy does all final grading and record keeping
- Standardized testing available (Iowa-E)
Remote Enrollment
Grades: 1st - 10th
This option allows for parents to teach their students at home using the A.C.E. curriculum with the option of attending classes with our Umbrella Program students, and optional enrichment classes. FaithCoast Academy Remote Enrollment also offers support staff for parents managing their student records and their individualized learning plan.
Program Offerings:
- Proven-Effective, Structured Christian Curriculum
- Student Record Management Support Provided As Needed (i.e. progress reports, permanent records, etc.)
- Attend *LIVE* (or stream online) Daily Chapel Services (Includes Live Praise & Worship and a Guest Speaker each day)
- Optional On-Campus Enrichment Classes (Music, Art, Physical Education, etc.)

Student Learning Plan & Assessments:
The ACE Diagnostic test will allow you to create a student learning plan based off of academic assessments completed for each subject. FaithCoast Academy staff will support in the ordering of your student(s) customized curriculum.
* All Remote Enrollment students must be registered by their parents/guardians with their local school district/county of residence as a Home Education student. As a Homeschool student FaithCoast Academy will support parents who are managing student records using the A.C.E. grading system.
